Some of you jazz aficionados may have better knowledge…, but us old hippies and classic rockers roll this way. The sax solo starts at about 3:55 into the Springsteen’s “Jungleland” song and ends at about 6:15…, but you will probably want to listen to the whole thing anyway. Cheers.
Of the great cello performances of this two minute Bach cello solo prelude , which of these two performances I love do you rate as “the best” ?
1. Rostropovich plays the Prelude from Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 (2 minutes)

2.Yo-Yo Ma plays the same piece:

(stop after the first of Yo-yo Ma’s)
Hard for me to choose , I love Rostropovich’s attack at the beginning but give it to Yo-yo Ma for the last thirty seconds of unbelievable polyphony.
Master of Soprano Sax – Sidney Bechet
The Sax Man – Clarence Clemmons
