    1. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT

…HOT WEATHER FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND FOR WESTERN WASHINGTON….

HIGHS TODAY WILL AGAIN BE IN THE 80S TO LOWER 90S FOR MUCH OF THE AREA…WITH THE COAST IN THE 70S. ON SUNDAY THE COAST WILL WARM WELL INTO THE 80S AND INLAND AREAS COULD REACH THE MID 90S. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE LOWER TO MID 60S FOR SOME AREAS TONIGHT.

THE RECENT STRETCH OF VERY WARM WEATHER WILL LIKELY CONTINUE INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. COOLER AND CLOUDIER WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP TOWARD THE END OF NEXT WEEK.

Yeah…, and it was like this last week too…, but we got the hay in The Barn…, now it’s time to catch up on the day to day chores…, and some ice cold Hamm’s in The Saddle Bar(n)

      Stay Cool My Friends 🙂

  1. I was made For America, her shining dream plays in my mind.

This leaves out the first verse (Why weep or slumber America/Land of brave and true/With castles and clothing and food for all/All belongs to you), but it throws in “every girl a queen” for the second “every man a king”, and the Kingfish himself is nodding. The song starts at the 35 second mark.

It’s great to be an American, even for those who are being brought over in slavery, so Sail Away.

Do you believe in rock ‘n’ roll, can music save your mortal soul?

  2. American dreams of one sort or another- no surprises here:
The Beach Boys –Wouldn’t it be nice?
    Johnny Cash – Folsom Prison
Bob Seger – Get Out of Denver
James Taylor – Line Em Up
Joan Baez – The Dream Song
Billie Holiday – God Bless the Child
